All I can say is that if you've been around long enough you can figure out
lots of things. I've been around in the ham community since 1979 and there's
a great variance in terminology. It's easy to determine what one says
especially when they have text explanation with it. Just to say you don't
understand when you really do is an ego problem. Let these people talk and
read there text without condemning them. It's definite that no one is
perfect. If you think you are, well, God help you.

Sounds like CB jargon to me.
In my 45 years I never heard hams use terms like that.
I guess I have  a three-by-two hundred  sitting in my basement.
