My UTC catalog (1963-1964 vintage) shows the S-50 as a "plate
transformer" with:

 115VAC primary
3000-2500-0-2500-3000 secondary giving 2625 or 2175 VDC at 300mA dc.

so it appears that what called "secondary 2" is really the HV ends of
"secondary 1"

The case is "G-12" which is 10 1/4 " x 7 3/8" x 9 1/4" and it weighs
in at 52 lbs.
