That was exactly what I built mine for!

However these days Im regressing even further. I'll have my 1957-59 station 
finished this weekend. Johnson Viking I and HQ-129X rcvr.  But I will not 
build the PP 250TH amp with 810 modulators! A YC156 maybe.......
