And if we all used common sense and conserved it'd go down.
At current consumption we only need to increase the fleet average by about 7
MPG to become almost independent of foreign oil. The increase in demand for
oil has been pretty steady at 3 to 3.5% per year even with the high prices
having little or now effect except for the complaining.
And ...Hasn't this drifted a bit too far OT?
