Well, Mr SM2EKN whoever you are,  Every car mfg. advertises the horse  power 
of their engines most V8's in the range of 300+ HP these days, If you  drove 
"all out" with the 300 HP in high gear you would easily be doing about  150MPH 
way over the speed limit.  AT highways speeds 55-70MPH you are  probably using 
less than a third of the total HP.  I guess it is kinda the  same thing HUH?
