The parasitic mod is the last thing that amp needs.

However 160M loading has always been an issue. You can increase the fixed C 
on the Load side which will help a little. You can also add 3-4 turns on the 
coil to improve the low end of 160 tuning. Doing both works best.

Then add a .01 or .02 3KV at the base of the plate choke.

If you want 12M take 4-5 turns off the top of the plate choke.

Also be sure that someone hasnt cut out the fixed 50 Ohm input resistor to 
get more output. That was a way to get more output on all bands without 
caring about tube life.
