[Amps] Tube suggestion needed - 6 and/or 2M ~500W level with800-1kv on plate?

Find a used SB-230 and convert it.
Should be quite easy to change output circuitry.
NO, you can't have my SB-230, unless you buy the SB-104 and all the  
other matching boxes.
