Speaking of tuned-chokes:  I've built several power supplies over a many
year period using this method.  Some worked well, some didn't.  I've always
used the method that I thought was the only method, where the cap was in
parallel with the choke.

Recently, I came across another scheme where the cap is in series with the
choke.  Both the choke and the cap are in series from B+ to ground.

Anyone know anything about this method?
