In joking about the distant past I ask my ex-G.I. buddies if they
remember
that trashcan by the door of the recruit barracks, and what went inside
it.

That gets a laugh, guaranteed!

Some of us even got threatened to shape up or move into
that can instead of our rack.

I can still hear that POS bouncing down the aisle at 0330.....

I have considered getting a GI steel trashcan and lid and suspending the
amp inside it - I guess that if I had an ALS500 like remote head for it,
I would have already tried it.
