[Amps] 1/4" shaft connectors

If we're talking straight forward couplers (not flexible) , what is a 
reasonable price for them in:-

a) Brass
b) Nylon

And what threads on the set screws - 6-32, or metric?

Some years ago, I made a load for a friend, and could doubtless do it 
again!
