[Amps] Update: Can someone ID this tube and its use ?

oil smell ? Can't tell, the smell of the old 'horse hair' type
packing is about it. The coating on the envelope is not uniform
and is thick in areas where you can feel it.

Next question is, Any value ?

There are six total. Four are in the orig shipping paper
which covers the yellow boxes. One no longer has its box
and a sixth the yellow box minus the 'hair'.
