...Or you could run each secondary to its own FWD then put the two doublers
series...

Thanks to all who responded to this thread. Though this scheme does work, it
doesn't produce the same results. I didn't do the math the first time
around.

My two xfmrs are 1100 VAC. If I series the secondaries and feed a FWD
circuit, I'd get:

1100 VAC + 1100 VAC * 2.8 = 6160VAC 

If I feed each individual xfmr to it's own FWB then series the results I
get:

(1100 VAC * 1.4) + (1100 VAC * 1.4) = 1540 VAC + 1540 VAC = 3080 VAC

It could see the circuit in my head but I didn't do the math. If I want the
6kV or so from the supply I need to series the secondaries and run a FWD and
live with a 60Hz charging rate.
