[Amps] 4CX1600U - too good to be true?

There is no socket issue as it does not use one. The base connections are 
cocentric rings and the tube is designed for UHF cavities.

It has a tarnished reputation of having inconsistent gain from tube to tube 
even at 432. It is basically a take off on the RCA UHF TV translator tubes 
of the 60's.

With some copper tubing and finger stock it should work fine on HF once the 
issue of supporting it on a chassis and cooling is solved.
