Low power position on the 3K-A is 3kv.
So, you're correct.....
It will of cuss do it at 3kv x .8 = 2400w x %60 = 1440cwout x 2 =
1880pepout.
The grid should indicate 280ma.
Yes, it takes more than 100w to get these numbers.
That is the tune or cw PA voltage, SSB has 4kv and it makes lots of suds.
Ain't burned up my Ht-Tower yet and that's a good thing.
