   Ordinary RG-8/U is rated at something like 5,000 volts, but my hi-potter uses it as 
it's negative lead and it with stands (with no leakage, compared to the corona) about 
55,000 Volts, I'm guessing as the meter only goes to 50 kV.  Additional coax is the same.
