I think this tube has a slightly different filament voltage?  5.5v versus 5v?  I seem to remember this from somewhere in my fading memory (too much RF??).  I could be wrong.

Clearly it works anyway.  I do have that specific data sheet somewhere in the libray (somewhere!!!!!) if you (or anyone else) want a copy.

This is the pulse version of the tube and it is .1 inch taller than the
standard 8877.

These are pulls, he warrantees them for 30 days and I paid just
over $300 shipped.

The one I have used for the last few months works just fine in
my AL-1500. It has a 2005 date code.
