[Amps] AL80B question

I'd try another known good 3-500.   What do you know about the tube
that's in there now?  did it come with the amp when you bought it?
ever swap it out for another one?  I know of people running these amps
too hard (too much grid current and/or plate current) and doing a
number on the tube.   This is an easy thing to check provided you have
the use of another tube.
