[Amps] Grounded Grid (Screen) 4CX250B power gain

I have a pair of 30S-1s, and I always thought that the ALC circuit was  
like shutting the gate after the horses had already run through.....  
gotta make grid current to prevent grid current...  but never burned a  
grid up as far as I can remember.
