[Amps] EIMAC 4CX300A 8167

An interesting version of the same tube is the 4CN15. It is the same with out the radiator fins. 
I have gotten some of these from what appeared to be a 4 tube HF amplifier that was oil cooled.
The amplifier was all in oil and little sets of fins were clamped to the tubes. 
   Stuff like this was often used in high altitude air craft due to the fact that at high altitudes 
the air was not only thinner but the break down voltage is much lower. 
   Also I had gotten some 4CN15 tubes where the socket tabs were directly soldered.
I don't know what they came from because I got them on ebay and the wires were
clipped off. So apparently if you use soft solder, lead-tin, you can solder to the tabs
with out breaking the vacuum seal.
