It is in my 79 book and I think on the cover of the 80.

Had a pair of 833A back in 1961. They were set up as pp in and out, grid 

driven.

With mu of 35 and considerable high grid bias required I can't imagine them 

working out grounded grid.

I'd like to see the article too
