I think the original builder were not a "dummy" at all. I see some good
"homebrew" ingenuity and some care taken which is many times not evident in
the commercial offerings. It is always easy to find "engineering" mistakes
on any amplifier. What difference is there really between the Microwave
housing and the heathkit "paint by number / Meccano" offerings :). There is
no pressurised cooling involved so the housing is in my view quite neat.
