  I would say check out  your primary supply volts first. My is 240v  
es swings +/- 6%.. A mate his primary supply is 252v constant, this  
all effects ur secondary voltage,, here I use a constant voltage  
heater t/former for the fil on my 2  by 4cx1000 amp ,also have a  
constant voltage /filter supply for my 240v mains supply. gud tube  
life = voltage regulated fil supply!!measured at the fil pins not the  
socket connections..
