This counter is a copy of the very similar one sold by Palstar (at a better
price) and is a great unit. I have used about eight of the Palstar ones and they
work fine, but I would caution a prospective user about mounting it. Because the
bears and counter project *through* the panel, some fancy cut-out work is
required. By comparison the Groth counters have all the gears and stuff mounted
on the front side and panel cutting is much simpler.
I have several of the Palstar units working in my everyday amp right now and
they are great, but mounting them was truly a pain in the you-know-what.
