[Amps] Derating loads

Can't speak for dry Bird loads - but I know for a fact that one of the Bird 
50 KW water cooled loads will take 50KW carrier but will NOT take 50KW 100 
percent modulated even sine wave instead of clipped trapezoidal . I blew one 
at a customer acceptance site and was accused of having spurious 
oscillations  - A call to Bird confirmed it would not take the 100 percent 
AM .

Time to end the "what ifs'", and turn the key on this puppy.

I've got 10 bucks that says his 300 watt load will stand 1500 watts CW dits 
and das for the 15 seconds. I would follow that up of course with a minute 
or two cool down.

Now, if you have a muffin fan or similar to run across it at the time, so 
much the better!
