Hello everyone,
Thanks for reply my topic. This band switch what I just showed (http://www.zmdz.com/bbs/photobook.asp?page=1&name=DeepBlue&ClassID=0 )is our existing band switch,It was used in our HF2000/2100DX amplifier(2000W output, a FU-728F)
But it is too big as Gordon said, not only for TL922, but also our next 3X4Cx250B project. So we want develop a new band switch ,similar size as Model 80 but higher break down voltage and
current rating, it will have Model 86's specs. So I can use it in our existing 2000W and 1000W 3X4Cx250B amplifer in future, certainly, it can use in TL922.
The existing swithc what I just showed only for show our ability ,It'll be replace by our new smaller band switch! This switch NOT for sale!
About new smaller band switch's price,It still in bule diagram, first of all,we must pay expensive cost of dies( for ceramic, nylon, BeCu,and brass parts), so it's price depend on the quantity.
We are a fresh man of amplifier's market, we can not sell too much amplifiers every year, so we needs to share our switch to reduce the cost and fill the manufacturer's MOQ request.
But if the price reach 70% Model 86's, this plan will stop, I'll order from multi-tech. my aim is a 3 desk band switch's price below $100, but may be not over 150, it depond on the quantity.Yestersday, I now the die's
quoted price markup 40% than 2 years ago!
Do you think what price you can accept? All thoughts will be welcome!
     73!Hsu
