If your neighbors lights don't go out when you key the HF transmitter
you are running QRP.
If you can't tune you amp on HF for a null using your neighbors lights
you are considered to be running QRP.
On VHF and above:
If you can't use your neighbors lights as an RF indicator you are
running QRP
If you can't use your neighbors lights as a calibration point for the
UHF/UHF antennas you are running QRP
This from a guy who doesn't own anything capable of reaching the legal
limit...except on 440...Here the power limit is 50 watts output on 440
so the 100 watt Icom has to be backed off to be legal.
Oh! If the tires don't skid when you key the mobile rig you aren't
running enough power.
