I'm just finished adding QSK to a TL-922.

I also put a .01 6kv at the base of the plate choke. I was tuning the amp on
20 meters and the cap blew up and shorted. Blew the fuses before it took out
the 10 ohm 10 watt resistor I replaced the VHF choke with. BUT I also added
a .01 6KV at the power supply side of the HV feed through. It survived.


What do you think?  A self resonate cap at 14 MHz?
