They have completely different sockets, better price that to see if you can afford it. The 5000 will play at 100 MHz, in the proper version of the socket. For what that's worth to you....
also, depending on your loadline, if you need higher cathode current on the RF cycle peaks, then you have to select the right tube, or suffer shorter life, and having to crank up the filament too high. Thats covered in Care and Feeding I believe.
