*IF* you knew the parasitic frequency,

( 150mhz mentioned for a pair of 3-500s)

Couldn't you make to make a fairly broadband neutralization circuit ?

Feed 150mhz into the input ( force the issue ) and null the output with the
neutralization circuit ?

Maybe manufacturers use simple plate circuit supressors because ( as  
mentioned earlier...higher impedance ) or could it be manufacturing  
and adjusting costs would add more than the cheaper and down and dirty  
coil/resistor combination ?
