[Amps] SB-1000 transformer

To confirm what others have indicated, my SB-1000 Transformer shorted out
from HV to the filament leads.

Unfortunately, it is a common problem.

Ameritron offers the AL-80B transformer with a bracket because it needs to
be mounted on its side to fit into the case/cabinet.

That is, in part, because it is a little larger and also significantly heavier.

Be sure to specify that it is for a SB-1000.

It comes with instructions on how to mount and wire it.
