If you live near a surplus electronics shop give them a call, old industrial
linear supplies are going cheap. The last one I picked up about 15-16 months
ago was a rack mounted 0-35V @ 100A for $50, in 1998 I paid $150 for the
same PS, same store, for the company I worked for.
Its a 2 man effort to get it on the bench, about 150#.
