[Amps] Which hearhkit amp would you choose?

Negative is wrong Jim.

Its called a step start and serves the function it was designed for. There 
is no other reason to use a step start in a SB-220 as the transformers are 
current limited, the switch is the weak link and pretty unobtanium. When 
switching to more C in the PS then it will also help there.
