Ive had no problems with any TH/TL  or similar such as a 6C21 being shipped 
to me. Maybe Im just lucky but after a careful regettering they mostly work 
fine for RF or audio..

Ive heard of some 250/450's that arrive with broken filaments but no info as 
to age, year built, manufacturer, etc.

The 860/861 are tubes that have extremely fragile filaments and dont travel 
well. I have an 860 but still looking for a 861 within a reasonable drive. 
Then the pre 1930 KW will be finished.
