[Amps] Alpha 374A problem

The first step would be to take the cover off, defeat BOTH interlocks, power 
up and try to pinpoint the noise source.

If you are not comfortable doing this get help.

If the hum is from the transformer Id suspect the filter caps are on the way 
out.
