[Amps] Homebrew is back..

Eddy, I have a couple of those NIB and havent tried them yet. My own 
guesstimation is that the graphite anode is around 225-250W PD in SSB 
service and 4 dont even show color at 2000W Input....except a long 
HooooLahhhhh with the room lights off. A slowed down muffin fan can barely 
be heard. With 4 plate modulated and 1200W carrier out they do get a bit red 
but not excessively and the fan is moving a lot more air.

At Nearfest last year NIB 813's could be found for $25-30 and $5-10 for 
unknown loose ones. Ive had near perfect luck with loose and NOS appearing 
which includes no sign of being in a twist lock socket.

At those prices it makes more sense to retrofit a SB-200 than with Ruskie 
crap.
