Yes, that is where they are George.  Probably an open 1 meg resistor  in 
the string.  Be sure the meter didn't go on you.  Tap it with an  ohm meter in 
high scale and see if it responds.  If it does then it is  either a bad 
connection, the switch or a series divider resistor.  They do  open due to the 
high Vdrop across them,

The  voltmeter on my HF 1250 stop working.   I looked at the schematic  and
the amplifier and wow not the easiest to work on.  The B+ voltage  is fine

2800 but no readings on the meter.  Looking at schematic it  show a resistor
voltage divider going to the switch (the schematic is  missing some
connections and it's not clear about some of the  interconnections since the
different sheets have different names).   Where are these resistors, it

like they might be under the RF deck,  but that would require disassembly of
the whole amp chassis.  Anyone  who has worked on one these I sure could use
a hint before I start taking  every thing apart.  Also if anyone has a 
better
schematic than the one  in the manual I would appreciate that.   Thanks.
