[Amps] Cheap auxiliary amp cooling

My NCL-2000's idle at 250ma at 2500V with 800W of total Pd but IMd is 
nothing to brag about unless some PS changes are made and then its only in 
the mid -30's.  Im going to convert the 6M one to a 3CX800A7 and the others 
dont see much use except with the vintage SSB equipment.

There is no free lunch, either use triodes with low ZSAC and small gain or
tetrodes with 20db+ gain and high demand of ZSAC.

I have no problem to let my YL1056 idle with 1100W ZSAC and use the same
tube since 1978.
I remember my 30S1 did not consume much less while idling.

Isnt that exciting having to run almost 1100W idle with 2 tubes only rated
at 1200W dissipation total?  No wonder they dont last long and availability
is drying up.
