I suspect the Powermaster samples much like the LP-100A.  N8LP informed me 
that 100% detectability occurs in 7-10 ms with his wattmeter.  So, I think 
Joe is correct in that a scope is required for short power bursts.  Anyone 
have data that shows the overshoot duration for some common problematic 
transceivers?
