This suggests that running in tx with no output at all will kill it even faster.
That would not be indicative of a good design.

## Hit the PTT..and say nothing for 5 mins...and watch it burn up in front of your eyes.
300 watts on idle is fubar........esp with a heatsink that was designed by a moron. Take
the top lid off, and you can see within 30 secs, what the problem is. Great concept,
lousy implementation. Another yaesu flop. Next time they should try copper heatsinks
instead. Cu conducts heat almost twice as fast as AL. Baffles me how the MK-V ever got
past the front door...key clix and a useless heat sink.
