[Amps] Alpha 78

I run my '78 (with the original tubes) on RTTY at about 500W.   Even at
that level, the air coming out of the chimney holes gets fairly warm.   I
haven't measured it yet.

  One of the main reasons I got it was that I judged my existing linear (
30L-1 ) incapable of doing RTTY at any power level whatsoever.   And I
had broken an SBE SB2-LA ( one shorted grid ) on RTTY.

   I suspect that contesting is actually easier on the equipment than
ragchewing, because the exchanges are so short.
