[Amps] AL-1200 no output

ORIGINAL POST OF SYPTOMS:
 
My friend LA9TJA have a Ameritron AL-1200 amp which stopped output  this
weekend during WPX RTTY on 15m.

1.       No  output on 30w input anyband.

2.       Hi SWR between  RIG and AMP.

3.       Grid meter shows 150-250 on any  band with 30w input
 
Given the above, does open R3 sound logical?
