I only can advise before mounting a new TL922 meter part,to do some nice 
modifications on this unit !!!!
Like prevent that some high current can flow to the metering circuit
Like I have done by means of some High voltage diodes across this circuit 
!!!!!
And adding some security components into the plate high voltage circuit(soft 
start up - blow down resistor in case of internaly tube arc son on)
And many others like I have done for a naber guy hier..
You have to now that the TL922 has a very nice amplifier ever made,better 
than many others very solid build ....
But with some big failures made by factory production hi
One minus point is that the high tension transformer consume already some 
power without charge(please do the test and measurement)and let me now the 
values you did found.
Mine hier consume about 1A without charge on it !!!!!!!!!!!!
His µ-metal constructions details are very poor and bad.

So you could better prevent further failure by means of this mods....
