[Amps] AL-1500 IC-1 failure

A local fellow has an Amertiron Al-1500 that has blow IC-1 on the timer
overload board for the third time. No apparent malfunction during operation
until after one tries to turn the amp back on after a power down. The first
two times it did not time in and the last time it did time in but would not
go into operate. Replacing IC-1 each time fixed the problem. It seems to be
OK for several months of on off operation then it fails. Any thoughts?
