[Amps] VT158 Zahl tube

   I wonder if any hams ever used a VT158 Zahl oscillator tube in an amplifier.
Naturally, you would have to keep it from oscillating.
   I believe they were still used into the 60's for some field radars to 
detect mortor
rounds ( AN/TQS-3).
   It is a very large and interesting tube.
