I remember reading about a method of moving the resonance by using a single shorted turn of loosely coupled, HV insulated wire around the choke. The tip was not in any of the usual ham magazines but in some DX journal I believe. This was when I lived in Dallas so more than 12 years ago. -- Dan Hearn N5AR
