Sorry to hear that, I recently had a heart attack, I wonder if we'll live to see it back together. Any time you want to give up, I'll try to get it picked up and find someone who can put it back together.

  It is going back together very slowly.  I have had a major attack of RA and am taking a special treatment of steroids.

    I only ran my new GI-7bT tubes for a few hours on just the heater before applying high voltage. They are working fine in my home-brew 160-meter amplifier.

    Hi Forum,

    What are you guys doing to prepare GI7b:s for first time use? I recall playing with one some years ago and I don't remember doing anything special apart from running it on filament for a day before applying HV.
    What do you recommend?
