Well, low and behold. I found the culprit to be a burnt screw connection at the filament choke on the tube end...resistance wasn't high but indicated a problem. One new copper screw and all is well....1846 PEP into the dummy load!! Woo Hoo...instant on DX pile up buster!!! That's at 1500 PEP of course. Thanks for reading!! Cam WA4JKW
