Jim, A very nice presentation. Since I sold my Dahl Alpha 77
transformer model A77S and now need another one, and can't find
anyone wanting to sell one, I'm going to have to either order one
from Harbach or from somewhere else like this maker. I was looking
for a higher KV transformer but I have been convinced to stay at the
same voltage rating the original transformer came with & to keep the
stock cap.

>From a standpoint of reduced hum I like the idea of the interweaved
terminal laminations (his E & I interweave description) as opposed to
a pair of C cores with approximating tips. If his method will also
give a higher CCS rating as Dhal used, and fit with the same
dimensions, it would be worth looking deeper into.

There aren't that many transformer makers I know of any more.
