I for one will miss the OTA broadcasts once they are gone. They
had much better picture quality than this compressed "stuff" we
get via cable or satellite.

All one need do is tune in an NFL Football Game on an OTA HD
channel and find the same game on ESPN or the NFL channel.
Switch between them and the difference is striking. Especially
on a large screen !!

## OTA digital TV is the real deal. 1080 P.
Digital cable TV + telco VDSL TV is only 720 P.
Digital satellite TV gets compressed 2-3 times b4
you ever get it. You are being sold a bill of goods.
Once the screen is big enough, like 46 inch, then you can
see the difference. I cant see any difference on a 32 inch screen.

## I don’t think digital OTA is going away anytime soon. Why would
it. Then you are held to ransom by the cable-telcos + satellite.

## analog TV OTA has now been replaced by digital TV OTA.
Dunno what happened to all the old analog TV vhf + uhf freqs.
They all appear to be dead air around here..at least ch 2-13.
