[Amps] Dummy load. Can distilled water be used instead of oil ?

I have a large (2.5KW) oil-filled Bird DL. I put it in a large plastic
sweater
box (the kind you slide under the bed). Besides being easier to move
around, it gives me peace of mind should it ever develop a leak.
